A combat training program is a program designed to give a redpill knowledge in various forms of combat.

Administering the Program

After Neo is freed from the Matrix, Tank decides to skip the more boring operations programs and get straight to combat training. Tank spends ten hours straight downloading combat training into Neo's mind and when he wakes up, Neo tells Morpheus that "I know Kung Fu." Morpheus then tests Neo's knowledge using the sparring program. The combat training program turns Neo into an extremely capable fighter with the knowledge of many different disciplines.

Sixty years later, Bugs implies to a resurrected Neo that the combat training program and similar training programs have been discontinued, complaining that "downloading used to be fun. Now it's all manuals and diagnostics." Neo later discovers that he retains the knowledge that this program gave him even when he has not yet recovered his powers as The One. Neo uses this to fight and defeat several Exiles, commenting that "I still know Kung Fu."
